The Ocean Independence team are saying ‘Bon Voyage‘ to Elaine Marjoram today as she leaves to pack her bags for a new life in Australia. They will be welcoming Tracy Camps into the team as the new Independent Living Advisor at the end of May.
Ocean Independent Living Advisors provide a visiting service to people in their own homes – helping them remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
Read our case study of how Elaine has been able to help one man pull himself out of isolation and loneliness.
They can also set up the Lifeline equipment (telephone alert service) for peace of mind – connecting them with a call centre operator over the loudspeaker at the touch of a button.
The latest news from the team is that they are now running ‘Get Togethers‘ to bring people together in community rooms.
At the moment, they are running three regular ‘Get Togethers’:
Mondays 10.30am – 12.00pm at Rialton Heights, Newquay
Wednesdays 10.30am – 12.00pm at Prince Charles House, St. Austell
Thursdays 10.30am – 12.00pm at Fifield House, St. Stephens
