Where

This year, it’s open to Newquay residents and we are taking bookings now!

Skills

Sea Safety

Not your standard surf school lesson. This is a non-stop action packed day where we will learn skills that include aspects of lifeguarding, rock pool investigation, body boarding and the ocean environment.

Kids Can Cook

Cook up a storm with our Little Magician Kitchen workshop.  You’ll be taken on a food adventure to tempt your taste-buds and get stuck into making your own cooked lunch, with dessert.

In the afternoon we will be well on our way to learning healthy habits and painting your own portion plate – to keep!

Safety First

The day will start with a visit to a Fire Station where you can try your hand at being a firefighter.  Get dressed-up in fire kit, learn about the equipment carried on the truck and have a go at searching a simulated firehouse with the help of the duty fire watch.

Designed like a film set, you will follow the indoor trail on a journey from home to beach, countryside and train track with other realistic settings to learn about safety in a fun way.

Police, Camera, Action

We will be taking a trip behind bars at Bodmin Police hub where you can find out what happens when someone is arrested, how police equipment works and how it helps officers do their job. Together we will explore the station and learn ways to protect yourself and how to avoid dangerous situations.

See where mixed recycling is sorted, separated and baled ready for recycling when we visit a recycling centre. We will learn about 3R’s, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and get creative with junk modelling.
