We need you

We have a range of ways to get involved under the Tenant and Resident Partnership. The partnership was created to give all of our tenants and residents the opportunity to get involved and have their say. It doesn't matter if you can only spare a couple of minutes to give us your feedback, the partnership has three levels based on what time you have available to give; gold, silver and bronze.

What is the Tenant Partnership?

The Tenant and Resident Partnership has been created by our tenants and residents to simplify the ways that you can get involved.

The partnership is based around 3 levels; gold, silver and bronze, and is designed to offer something for everyone based upon the time you have available and commitment you are able to make.

Partnership Levels

Gold

As a gold partner, you will be a member of our active Together With Ocean (TWO) panel. TWO meet monthly online and in person to monitor the performance of Ocean, scrutinise our service deliver and challenge our decision making.

Silver

As a silver partnership member you have two options. You can join as a Tenant Monitor and review our grounds maintenance and communal cleaning services with the option to win vouchers, the more feedback you give.

Or if you interested in helping shape our newsletter, forms and magazine, you can join as an Editorial Panel member.

Bronze

As a bronze member you can join our exciting Have Your Say online community through the MyOcean section of the website.

Using Have Your Say you can provide feedback from your own home and build up points to win prizes.

There is nothing to stop you moving between the levels as your circumstances change or joining more than one group! If you are interested, fill out the contact form here today.

Who are Together with Ocean (TWO)?

Together With Ocean (TWO)

Together With Ocean was created by our tenants and residents in September 2020 following a review of our existing tenant panels.

The group is made up of Ocean Housing tenants and residents and is always looking to create new ways of working together with Ocean.

The group meet monthly, online and in person and are a gold member of the Tenant and Resident Partnership. They complete some of the following key activities:

Review the performance of our services and the decisions affecting tenants
Monitor service standards targets
Identify areas that Ocean are doing well in, and areas that could be improved
Scrutinise Ocean services in greater depth and make recommendations

Meetings

Meetings are held every month and last for at least an hour.

Treasure Chest

TWO also has ownership of the Community Fund initiative, granting communities and neighbourhoods much needed funding for their own events.

What is Have Your Say (Formally the Virtual Internet Panel)?

We have created a new online home to give residents the opportunity to have a greater say in what we do and how we do it.

The Virtual Internet Panel (VIP) has now been replaced by 'Have Your Say', accessed through the MyOcean section of the website (link at the top of this page). Have Your Say allows tenants, who could not take part in our usual tenant panel meetings at our office, provide feedback – by allowing them to communicate virtually.

Have Your Say allows Ocean tenants to complete surveys and polls, as well as contribute to blogs and forums. All of which will help gain points, to be in with a chance of winning prizes.

If you have a MyOcean account you will be able to interact with other users, read news and take part in a range of activities.

What can you get out of taking part?

The more you get involved, the more points you can make. And in the words of Bruce Forsyth, what do points make? Yes, you guessed it, prizes!

The more points you get; the better chance you have in a quarterly draw to win a £50 shopping voucher.
