Ocean Housing Confirms New Organisational Structure from April 2026

Ocean Housing is pleased to announce the introduction of its new organisational structure, which will take effect from 1st April 2026.

Following the Board’s decision in October 2025 to simplify and strengthen our governance arrangements, a dedicated project team has been working closely with funders, legal advisors, and key stakeholders to achieve this goal.

From 1st April, Ocean Housing Ltd, the Registered Provider that owns c. 4,500 social housing homes, will be the parent company with Gilbert and Goode as its commercial house building subsidiary.

As part of this transition, Ocean is now recruiting an additional 3 board members to bring specific skills to ensure that the service to our tenants is of the highest quality, built on data driven decisions and delivered with the respect-based values of the organisation.

This re-organisation builds on the recent refreshed executive level focus on the repairs and maintenance function and the organisation’s strengthened governance arrangements.
